Day 1st: Athens
Arrival at Athens, assistance & transfer to the hotel. Accommodation including breakfast. Optionally you may visit Acropolis & Acropolis Museum in Athens, or if you prefer to look around at Benakis’ Museum, a private museum which hosts from Byzantine, Islamic & traditional epoque. It is the ideal place to enjoy home-made desserts or a glass of wine with Greek assortments at the veranda!
Days 2nd & 3rd: Mykonos
Transfer to the port of Piraeus for the departure by ferry to Mykonos Island. Upon arrival assistance with your suitcases & transfer to the hotel. Accommodation including breakfast for 2 nights. A must in the area is “Petros The Pelican”, the official mascot of Mykonos! It came on the island of winds, around 1954, after a storm and from then became a permanent resident of the island. When it died, it was replaced immediately, creating a tradition for the island! The Aegean Maritime Museum is a place that shouldn’t be missed as it is situated in the center of the city and is unique for somebody that is interested in the naval tradition of the island. Mykonos is also known worldwide for its sandy beaches and the wild night life, so whichever you decide to visit you will have lots of fun! For dinner, we recommend Nammos, a restaurant next to Psarou beach with Mediterranean cuisine, the center of loud music, beach & pleasure. Other alternatives would be Elia Mykonos Restaurant next to Elia Beach with fantastic seafood dishes, Squalo Restaurant located in the old port next to the archaeological museum offering you panoramic view of Mykonos and Delos, Bonatsa Restaurant next to Platis Gialos Beach with traditional Greek cuisine or Katrine’s Restaurant the oldest chic restaurant in Mykonos with a combination of Greek traditional and international luxurious cuisine.
For the evening we recommend you to take a walk at little Venice with the countless bars in order to enjoy your drink either at the Sea Satin Market Caprice, one of the most famous bars worldwide or enjoy Katerinaki cocktail at Galleraki bar, a cocktail with a secret recipe. At little Venice you can also have a coffee with a panoramic view during the sunset.
Last but not least, optionally you can visit Delos Island by taking the ferry. Delos in 1990 was inscribed by UNESCO on the World Heritage List, citing it as the exceptional rich archaeological site which conveys the image of a great cosmopolitan port.
Days 4th, 5th & 6th: Syros Island
Transfer to the port for departure by ferry to Syros island. Upon arrival assistance with your luggage & transfer to the hotel. Accommodation including breakfast for 3 nights. A place that is worthwhile visiting is “The Municipal Theatre Apollon”, which has been designed by the famous Italian architect Pietro Sambo. It was constructed in 1862-1864, the theater is ever since the symbol of the town of Hermoupolis, both during the times of flourishing and in the period of decline. The Industrial Museum of Ermoupolis, which is really important to visit as items have been collected not only from industrial places of Greece, but also from industrial cities of Western Europe. Textile factories, shipyards, wooden factories, machinery workshops, tanneries, glass factories, printing factories & loukoumi factories have donated their pieces to the museum. Picturesque villages full of history & clear water beaches are there to welcome the visitors!
Day 7th: Athens
Transfer to the port and departure by ferry to Piraeus. Arrival in Athens and transfer to the hotel for overnight. Last day in Greece and you shouldn’t forget to put in oyur luggage local bio products and nice memories that will remind you always this country!
Day 8th: Athens – Departure
After breakfast you will be escorted to the airport for your departure
